Although Jake Paul has already made a number of ludicrous statements, his recent one could top them all. Paul and fellow internet celebrity KSI have been at odds for a number of years.
Paul and his brother started off their exhibition boxing career by taking on KSI and his brother with Jake taking on Deji and KSI facing off against Logan Paul.
Since then, fans have been clamoring for a match between KSI and Jake Paul. Years of verbal attacks have been exchanged, and both parties have said they’d be interested in a boxing match. However, nothing has ever come of it.
This is in part due to the fact KSI has buried the hatchet with Logan Paul and the two started an energy business together.
Paul is certain that KSI won’t ever challenge him to a boxing match. He is so certain of it that he is willing to risk his private parts:
“If KSI ever fights me, bro, I will cut my d**k off. Honestly, because it’s never going to happen. It’s never going to happen, bro. He’s a smart kid and he knows that I would literally f*****g knock him out.” – Paul told streamer Adin Ross
“He keeps using me and all this for promotion and it’s smart. But I promise you, and I’ve said it since before my first professional fight, I promise you he’s never going to fight me.”
After a three-year absence from boxing, KSI made his comeback to the ring earlier this year for back-to-back contests on the same evening.
He is currently scheduled to box MMA star Dillon Danis on January 14th.
Jake Paul manner seized the opportunity to take another shot at his opponent. He claimed that KSI only returned to the ring because he had ‘failed’ in his music career.
Paul added: “At the end of the day, his music career failed. So now, he’s looking for some other shit and that’s why he’s getting back into boxing. Clear as day bro.”
Fans of the two individual internet celebrities undoubtedly want to see a match between them. However, KSI has insisted that they should simply be patient.
KSI said via The Sun: “I figured it out, you guys will not be happy until I fight Jake Paul. So that’s why I don’t see the eagerness for you to want me to fight Jake Paul so quickly.”
“I said I’m going to fight him in 2023, the only reason I’ve come back into the boxing scene is to fight Jake Paul and beat him. So I don’t really understand why people are complaining about the people that I fight.”
“Why don’t we just enjoy the journey? Enjoy the ride because ladies and gentlemen, once I fight Jake Paul, I’m done. I’m not boxing anymore, I would have solidified my legacy and then I’m hanging up the gloves forever.”
“So why do we want to rush that?”
