Former YouTuber Jake Paul is set to make a triumphant return to acting in an exciting sports-themed drama.
Jake Paul has appeared as an actor before as well. Together with fellow celebrity Olivia Rodrigo, Paul co-starred as a fictitious influencer in the Disney Channel original series ‘Bizaardvark’.
But after his YouTube content house Team 10 dissolved multiple times, Paul redirected his focus towards boxing. He followed in the footsteps of his older brother, Logan.
However, it seems that Paul is returning to his acting roots as he once again steps in front of a professional camera to feature in a new sports-themed drama.
In an exclusive announcement, it was revealed that Jake Paul will star in a sports film produced by Mandalay Pictures and Wonder Street. The movie tells the story of a small-town youth who rises to international fame through combat sports, a world Paul is intimately familiar with due to his transition from YouTube to boxing in 2020.
Producer David Zelon expressed his excitement about collaborating with Paul, recognizing his impact on today’s youth and his ability to connect with audiences of all ages through social media. He said: “Jake continues to make an indelible imprint on today’s youth with his exuberance and business savvy. He is the blueprint of the new breed of entrepreneur, using social media as a platform to bring his brand to global audiences.”
