Jake Paul still wants an MMA clash with Nate Diaz, $10M reportedly still on the table

Jake Paul has been absent from the boxing scene since his split-decision loss to Tommy Fury back in February. This marked the first defeat in the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s career. It was a significant setback that raised questions about his future in the sport.

Initially, Paul hinted at a rematch with Fury. But he swiftly changed his plans.

Now, Jake Paul is set to take on Nate Diaz in August on DAZN pay-per-view. As the match draws near, the odds appear to be heavily in Jake Paul’s favor against the former UFC superstar. If he emerges victorious in August, Paul is willing to take on Nate Diaz in the MMA cage.

On Twitter, Jake Paul disclosed that he had previously offered Nate Diaz a staggering $10 million dollars for a MMA showdown in the PFL. This offer was made six months ago. Interestingly, the YouTuber had already signed with the company in January.

Paul tweeted: “For all the clowns saying “why don’t you fight Nate Diaz in the cage.” I made that offer to him from the start. $10M to fight me in PFL after we box on August 5th. Offer is still there Nathan. #PaulDiaz”

Despite not having competed in an MMA match yet, Paul has been diligently training alongside UFC middleweight prospect Bo Nickal.

While Diaz has been focused on boxing recently, he has not entirely ruled out the possibility of returning to the MMA cage. After securing a submission victory over Tony Ferguson in September last year, Diaz expressed interest in rejoining the UFC ranks.

However, a substantial offer from the PFL has now landed on Nate Diaz’s table. The promotion has recently made some high-profile signings, including the likes of Francis Ngannou.

As the countdown to Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz begins, combat sports enthusiasts are eager to witness the clash between these two. Whether it will be a monumental moment for Jake Paul’s career or a triumphant return for Nate Diaz, this matchup promises to be a must-watch event for fans all around the world.
