Jake Paul slams Nate Diaz after suggesting Anderson Silva main event was fixed

Jake Paul’s love hate relationship with MMA fandom continues. After each win there’s a wave of rumors about match fixing – and a strenuous attempt to deny said rumors.

This whole cycle was initially perpetuated by Paul’s foe Dillon Danis and has since persisted with plenty of tinfoil hat theories about each of Paul’s boxing wins.

Nate Diaz recently implied Anderson Silva was on the ‘payroll’  during his bout against Jake Paul. Diaz isn’t sure if Jake Paul won the bout fairly.

With a clip of the late rapper Tupac claiming he doesn’t “support the phonies,” Diaz tweeted, “Your all on payroll.”

UFC veteran and fan favorite made his remarks after he allegedly insitgated an incident with Jake Paul’s crew backstage, seeming to smack someone in the face.

After Diaz defeated Silva by decision, Paul lashed out at Diaz. He called him a “street thug” and advises him to resolve their issues in the ring rather than on the streets.

At the news conference on Saturday in Arizona, Paul told the reporters,

“Everyone wants that fight. He tried to fight people in the hallway. Nate, stop fighting people for free.”

“Let’s do it in the ring, okay? I know you’re a little slow, buddy. But we can make that fight happen.”

“It’s typical of him. That’s what he likes to do. He’s a street gangster. He likes to act tough and he’s really not. Why are you trying to beat someone up in the hallway?”

Additionally, Paul called out Diaz in his ring interview. He said, “I want Nate Diaz, he’s a b****. He tried to come into my locker room and cause some s*** then he always leaves the f****ng arena so Nate Diaz, stop being a b**** and fight me.”

After defeating Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 via submission to end his UFC contract, Diaz has pledged to “take over” boxing and “own another sport.”

Last month, he told reporters, “I want to get out of the UFC and show all the fighters how to take over and own another sport. Boxing, kickboxing, jiu jitsu, I’m the creme de la creme right here and I’m coming for you.”
