Jake Paul promotes Anderson Silva event with an epic video of Dana White

Jake Paul and Dana White have a long history of opposing each other. Recently, Dana White trashed Paul for picking up soft opponents for his boxing matches and even mentioned that he would never choose Anderson Silva.

Paul has been looking for an opponent for the last two months after his previous boxing bout fell apart because of issues with both his original opponent and the replacement.

Paul’s last ring appearance was in December 2021 when he defeated Tyron Woodley via knockout. Woodley was a late day replacement for Tommy Fury. This win marked his fifth straight victory in professional boxing.

Jake Paul and Anderson Silva are scheduled to box on October 29, 2022.

Jake Paul always goes the extra mile promoting, and this time he used another trick utilizing a compilation of Dana White.

Jake Paul announced his next outing in a video clip:

“Ladies and gentlemen it is time for the fight announcement you have all been waiting for and I usually have to sell my fights,” Paul said in an announcement video today.

“I usually have to do all the work, but this time Dana White, Conor McGregor’s dad, is promoting the fight for me, thank you.”

After the announcement, he shared the video clip of Dana White praising Anderson Silva. In the video, Dana White criticized Paul for his choice of opponents and praised Anderson Silva by calling him the greatest of all time.

He further heaped praise on former UFC superstar and said he held his own in professional boxing against Tito Ortiz and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and got a victory. He even praised Silva for being of similar same size as Paul.

Paul did not take it for granted and blasted White for his opinion.

“I normally don’t agree with Dana, but he is right, Anderson Silva is literally the greatest MMA fighter of all time and one of the most versatile fighters in the history of combat sports.”

“He literally just schooled a world champion boxer in Julio Cesar Cap’n Crunch Chavez Jr III.”

It is an exciting development in the career of YouTuber turned boxer Paul because he would genuinely face his biggest competition to date.
