Jake Paul arrives in ‘homeland’ of Poland ahead of Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois

Popular YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul recently arrived on Polish soil just before the much-anticipated weekend showdown between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois in the heavyweight division.

Paul will be present ringside to witness the match as Oleksandr Usyk gets ready to square off against his mandatory challenger, Daniel Dubois. This clash comes after Usyk and Tyson Fury failed to reach an agreement for a historic four-belt undisputed bout.

Dubois’ trainer Don Charles, has meticulously prepared the boxer for an atmosphere that’s likely to be charged with hostility. Wroclaw is the venue of the event and is home to a substantial Ukrainian population of a quarter-million.

Speaking to his massive following on Instagram live from his car, Jake Paul enthusiastically expressed his excitement about the imminent event.

He said: “Poland, we are here. Usyk vs Dubois tomorrow night, I’m very excited.”

According to reports, the great great grand parents of Jake and his brother Logan were of Polish descent. Before he joins the crowd on Saturday, the 26-year-old made sure to remind his fans of his connection to Poland.

In a playful moment, Paul entertained his followers with a light-hearted imitation of Usyk’s well-known interview line: ‘I am very feel.’ This phrase has been frequently uttered by the Ukrainian boxer in his interviews and has become a distinctive trademark.

Paul said: “I’m finally in my homeland, a lot of you don’t know I’m Polish! We’re here, I’m very feel.”

Oleksandr Usyk has an impeccable record of 20-0. Having secured back-to-back victories over Anthony Joshua, he now sets his sights on retaining his belts for the second time.
