Jason Witt and Josh Quinlan had their bout be rescheduled – it was previously set to happen on UFC Vegas 59 last week.
To avoid having to undergo back-to-back weight cuts, the bout was contested at a 180 pound catchweight, with both men coming in under the limit.
Lack of a weight cut might’ve been a contributing factor in this picture perfect highlight reel finish Quinlan scored. This was his debut following a successful stint on Dana White’s Contender Series.
A lot of kicks from Quinlan early but nothing made a lasting impression. Witt had a nice double leg takedown. Despite the takedown Quinlan recovered fast and got back to his feet.

Witt came forward with a blind body kick and Quinlan counted with a massive left hand. That one punch had Witt knocked out on his feet and falling for the canvas.
Quinlan held off on follow-up strikes seeing the ref stepping in.
Official Result: Josh Quinlan def. Jason Witt by knockout (counter left), Round 1, 2:09
