Elon Musk’s recent banter with Mark Zuckerberg has caught the attention of many, with speculations arising about a potential cage bout between the tech titans.
Elon Musk’s on-off girlfriend Grimes said that she was the reason the Tesla CEO challenged Mark Zuckerberg to a ‘d*** measuring contest’ after the two agreed to a match.
35-year-old Claire Boucher (popularly known as Grimes) said she would prefer if the billionaires didn’t compete and added that it is “not going to cause brain damage.”
She also claimed responsibility for some of Musk’s tweets, such as the one in which he labelled his tech rival a “c*ck.”
Recently, the burger chain Wendy’s made a tweet requesting Zuckerberg to go into space to “really make Musk mad.” Zuckerberg then responded with a laughing emoji on Threads, which is Twitter’s rival social media platform.
The Tesla CEO then commented on a screenshot of the conversation. He commented: “Zuck is a c*ck” and “I propose a literal d*** measuring contest.”
Musk then agreed to the idea of a cage match against Zuckerberg. He announced that the event could potentially be streamed on Twitter, recently rebranded as ‘X.’
Grimes shared her perspective on the proposed cage match between the tech moguls. While she acknowledged the potential spectacle of such a match, she expressed reservations about seeing the father of her children engage in a physical brawl.
She said to WIRED: “Elon is very strong, but Zuck seems like he’s been training a ton. I would prefer that it didn’t happen. I love gladiatorial matches, but watching the father of your children in a physical fight is not the most pleasant feeling.”
“But it’s not going to cause brain damage, so actually I think this is good. Dudes need some outlet for trad masculinity. I actually think it’s making them respect each other more.”
When asked about the tweet of measuring d**ks, she stated: “I’m going to take credit for that one. I was like, why don’t you cut to the chase and get out a ruler. I didn’t think he was going to tweet it.”
Grimes and Musk dated from 2018 to 2022 and had two children together. The pair was recently sighted in Portofino in late July.
