Gold’s Gym in LA TERMINATED the membership of an angry woman who saw man with “big D” in female locker room

A Los Angeles gym membership dispute has sparked controversy after a prominent recording artist claims she was expelled from Gold’s Gym following a heated confrontation over locker room policies. The entire incident was captured on camera.

Tish Hyman, a 42-year-old singer-songwriter originally from the Bronx, alleges her membership was terminated Sunday after she publicly objected to someone she described as a biological male using the women’s changing facilities.

The incident, which Hyman captured on video and shared with her substantial social media following of 218,000 Instagram users, has ignited debate about privacy, safety, and accommodation in shared spaces.

In footage recorded at the gym, an agitated Hyman can be heard shouting: “Men! Grown men with big d**ks in the women’s locker room! And that’s why I’m getting kicked out, and I wanna make sure the girls to know!”

The artist continued her protest in front of gym staff and other members, expressing frustration that her concerns were being dismissed. “What the f**k? Everybody saw that man in the f**king locker room, and no one’s saying s**t!” she exclaimed while pacing through the facility.

According to Hyman’s account, the situation had been building over multiple visits. She claims that she and other female gym members had previously submitted formal grievances about the individual repeatedly entering the women’s locker room and allegedly engaging in harassing behavior.

Despite these documented complaints, Hyman says management failed to adequately address the situation.

“We already filed reports. No, no, no! You can’t get rid of me for this! I’m a woman and I have every right not to want a man in the restroom when I’m naked! There are girls naked in there!” Hyman stated in the video.

The confrontation escalated when the person in question—shown in the footage wearing all black with dangling earrings—returned to the women’s locker room despite the ongoing dispute. “Look at him walking in there like it’s okay, it’s not okay!” Hyman shouted.

Hyman’s video also captured an exchange where she asked a male bystander: “Did you tell me or not that women like to see d**ks?” attempting to emphasize what she viewed as the absurdity of the situation.

The artist was subsequently escorted to the front desk, where gym officials informed her that her membership had been revoked. Remarkably, she claims the other individual involved was also removed from the premises that day.

In a lengthy Instagram post following the incident, Hyman expressed feeling betrayed by the gym’s response. She wrote that staff “ignored [her] safety” despite her repeated pleas for intervention.

“They removed him—but then they turned around and terminated my membership too, as if I was being punished for speaking up,” she shared with her followers.

The singer described feeling genuinely frightened during the encounters and claimed many other women at the facility shared her discomfort but were reluctant to speak out. “I WAS LITERALLY SCARED. THE WOMEN IN THE GYM ALL AGREED WITH ME. MANY were relieved that someone finally said something out loud. Men had to step up to get him out,” Hyman wrote.

She added that the confrontation reached a point where she felt physically threatened. “He assaulted me,” Hyman alleged in the video, though the nature of this alleged assault was not shown in the footage she shared.

In the comment section of her social media posts, Hyman proposed what she sees as a solution to prevent similar situations. She noted that the gym location had recently undergone renovations and suggested the facility should install separate transgender restrooms to accommodate all members while addressing privacy concerns.

The artist has called for public action, urging her followers to “take a stand” and “#BoycottGoldsGym” in solidarity with her position.

The specific Gold’s Gym location where the incident occurred has recently been acquired by EōS Fitness, a growing chain that has been expanding its footprint in the competitive Los Angeles fitness market. Representatives from the facility had not responded to requests for comment at the time of publication.

The singer maintains that her objections were not about discrimination but about protecting the reasonable expectation of privacy that women should have in designated female-only spaces. “Me, naked in front of a man without my permission, but I’m the one who gets kicked out the gym y’all!” she protested in the video.
