Some huge news for all the fans of UFC Heavyweight division. The title is about to be unified!According to first reports Ngannou is in talks to fight current interim title holder Ciryl Gane at UFC 270.
UFC 270 will be a pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for Sat., Jan. 22, 2022 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada
Ngannou (16-3) was in negotiations to defend the title against Derrick Lewis but once he shoved reluctance to fight again so soon the interim shot went to Ciryl Gane.
Gane (10-0) outclassed Lewis en route to a third-round technical knockout finish.
Gane vs Ngannou reportedly won’t be the only heavy hitter on the card. Card is expected to feature Israel Adesanya vs Robert Whittaker – in their 3rd match up for the Middlweight Championship.
