Previously, the head honcho of American Top Team (ATT), Dan Lambert, had an altercation with Brandi Rhodes and her husband, Cody Rhodes. To the point that Rhodes slapped the ATT leader, Dan Lambert.
Paige VanZant, being a member of the ATT since her time in the UFC, burst out from backstage and sparked a clash with Brandi Rhodes who was inside the ring. As soon as she entered the ring, Rhodes tried to grab her but VanZant managed to lift her up and slammed her on the corner.
Things went more wild when a dozen women from backstage entered the ring and tried to separate the two. The backstage women held them apart in the opposite corner and the two can only shout and trash talk each other from afar.
This wasn’t her first appearance in AEW. In 2021, Paige VanZant appeared with a few fighters from ATT and she called out the wrestling star Chris Jericho. In the following week, during the AEW Rampage: Grand Slam event, the 27-year-old woman attacked Chris Jericho.
Paige VanZant is currently signed with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) since leaving the UFC in 2020. She fought two times last year within BKFC in a bare-knuckle fight and lost all two fights. In her professional mixed martial arts career, VanZant has a score consisting of 8 wins and 5 losses.
