Former UFC champion and WWE superstar Ronda Rousey has expanded her family, announcing the arrival of her second daughter, Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha Browne.
The proud mother shared the joyful news on Instagram Thursday, posting a heartwarming photo featuring her firstborn daughter greeting her new sister in the hospital bed.
The latest addition to the Browne family joins big sister La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne, who was born in 2021. Both children share beautiful Hawaiian names, reflecting their father Travis Browne’s heritage. Travis, whose nickname ‘Hapa’ refers to his mixed Hawaiian ancestry, and Rousey have embraced their cultural roots in naming their daughters.
Rousey first revealed her pregnancy in July during an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con. The birth marks another milestone in her remarkable journey from Olympic medalist to pioneering female athlete. As the first-ever female UFC champion, she held the women’s bantamweight title for nearly three years with six successful title defenses.
After concluding her MMA career, Rousey transitioned to professional wrestling, where she achieved significant success in WWE. She stepped away from wrestling in 2023, citing health concerns and her relationship with the organization.
The arrival of Liko’ula marks a new chapter for Rousey and her family, as she embraces motherhood for the second time.
