Michael Bisping is set to make his return to the silver screen in the upcoming action-packed sequel, “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.” The film, directed and written by Christian Gudegast, reunites Bisping with fellow stars Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
Bisping will reprise his role as Connor, following his recent appearance in Millennium’s highly anticipated “Red Sonja” movie. The talented martial artist turned actor has an impressive list of credits under his belt, including roles in “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage,” “Twin Peaks,” “Warrior,” “Never Back Down: Revolt,” and “Triple Threat.”
Aside from his acting career, Bisping has also made waves in the documentary world with the feature “Bisping,” produced by Universal. Moreover, he’s taken on roles as a color commentator for UFC events and ventured into unscripted series, such as the exciting competition show “Hyperdrive” on Netflix.
The production of “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera” commenced in the UK and Canary Islands in April and is expected to continue through June. The sequel picks up where the first film left off, with “Big Nick” (played by Gerard Butler) hot on the trail of criminals on the streets of Europe. His pursuit brings him closer to capturing Donnie, portrayed by O’Shea Jackson Jr. However, Donnie has become entangled in the treacherous world of diamond thieves and the Panther mafia, where a daring heist on the world’s largest diamond exchange is in the works.
The original “Den of Thieves” followed the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, led by Gerard Butler’s character, in their relentless pursuit of a group of sophisticated bank robbers. For this highly anticipated sequel, Sierra Affinity is participating in sales and financing, with producer credits being shared by Marc Canton, Gerard Butler, Tucker Tooley, and Alan Siegel.
