Former UFC Champion Luke Rockhold Is Big on Peptides, Including BPC-157 and the TB-500 Stack Called Glow

Luke Rockhold has become an entrepreneur in the health and wellness space, and during a recent appearance on The Casuals MMA podcast, he opened up about his work with peptides.

The conversation revealed Rockhold’s extensive knowledge of performance optimization and recovery, built from years of training at the highest level of mixed martial arts.

“A lot of people are kind of not open to peptides, but the biohacking, the whole, like, you know, it’s a new wave.”

The former champion emphasized his credentials in the field, stating

“My whole life, all I’ve done is perform and recover at the best with the best people in the world. So it’s like I have a wealth of knowledge on how to do it.”

Rockhold revealed plans for a new venture combining social wellness with peptide therapy.

“I convinced them to kind of come into a different space. So, this is a social wellness, kind of the whole biohacking atmosphere with the peptides.”

He highlighted the company’s growth, noting

When discussing specific peptides, Rockhold spoke extensively about BPC-157. He noted its popularity among grapplers:

“A lot of the jiu-jitsu guys, they all need it because their knees are all tore up, and they use it and they speak very highly of it.”

The conversation then turned to his personal experience with peptides during training camps. Rockhold described how sensitive the body becomes during intense preparation:

“When I went into full training camp, your body’s in this alkaline state, and you’re so sensitive to everything that’s going on.”

He recalled a conversation with Darren Till, who was skeptical about BPC-157:

“Darren Till was giving me BPC really, and I was like, ‘You idi0t. BPC is for everyone. It’s not any advantage. It’s just a little inflammation, inflammation, this, that.’ But he was like, you know, we were doing some testing, and he was like, ‘This guy…’ and I stopped taking it.”

Rockhold decided to test Till’s theory by stopping his peptide protocol:

“And so I stopped taking it, and you realize, like, training on the same regiment, how much more depleted my body was getting just from that stuff.”

He then revealed his preferred peptide stack:

“I like the combination of the BPC (157), the TB500, and the GHKCU. That’s a real stack right there. That’s a great stack. Keeps your skin nice and tight.”

The hosts asked whether Rockhold considered using performance enhancers when competing in promotions without testing, like BKFC.

“Sure. I mean, especially post-career, you know. I mean, now, all this new science about peptides and everything that’s coming on now.”

Rockhold explained his understanding of how peptides work:

“They just tell your body, like, it’s an ignition. And it’s just like a little fuel. It’s not going to change your whole rapport with your body, but it sends a sensor to the body, and it just amplifies what you already have, you know? A chain of amino acids that just helps your body better and better.”
