Floyd Mayweather claims Logan Paul boxing bout wasn’t ‘real’ and believes he would’ve KO-ed Paul in a professional bout

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is dealing with a wave of criticism targeting his frequent exhibitions. Mayweather recently requested Jake Paul be escorted out of the building prior to his exhibition against youtuber Deji. To which Paul answered by shading Mayweather’s tax issues and the effect his exhibitions have on the sport of boxing.

Mayweather has been under scrutiny for dancing around, reportedly fake striking and talking to Deji during their bout. Which prompted him to revisit another exhibition he had – against Logan Paul.

“I did an exhibition with the YouTuber Logan Paul. We had fun. People have gotta know, there’s a difference between a real fight and an exhibition. All I did was work out from time to time.” Mayweather said.

The 45-year-old also stated that if the match was sanctioned with his clean 50-0 score on the line, he would knock out Logan in the first round.

“If it was a real fight, it would’ve been a blowout in the first round.” Mayweather added.

Logan Paul previously used Mayweather exhibition as proof that he’s the best youtuber turned amateur boxer.

On a recent edition of his Impaulsive podcast, Paul remarked:

“So here is where it gets really interesting.”

“Now I am watching the landscape unfold and I have no wins but I am hungry and really hungry to get back in the ring. I am seeing my comrades do it and by the way if I didn’t think I was the best I wouldn’t do anything in life.”

“In my head I have to be number one because if I don’t believe it then how the f**k is anyone going to believe it? That is what I believe but of course respect to some of the particular greats in this vertical. I am hungry, I am training for the WWE again too but I am going in waves and I chase certain pursuits and WWE is becoming very real for me now.”
