Fitness Influencer Claims Taking Testosterone Indirectly Influenced Him To Find God

During his appearance on The Iced Coffee Hour podcast, content creator Togi opened up about how a simple mix-up during his testosterone protocol became the unexpected turning point that led him toward faith.

Togi has been candid throughout his career about his use of PEDs, and testosterone has long been a central part of his regimen. According to Togi, the turning point came when he accidentally took the wrong medication.

“I never mess up my pills,” he said. “There’s one pill you take when you’re on testosterone to drop your estrogen. For me it was Arimidex, but I accidentally grabbed a bottle of Aromasin. That one is a whole different thing, and it made me super depressed.”

Both Arimidex and Aromasin are commonly used to manage estrogen levels during testosterone therapy, but they work differently in the body. Aromasin is a st**oidal aromatase inactivator, and for some people it can cause a significant hormonal shift that affects mood.

For Togi, the mistake triggered an intense period of depression that forced him to reflect on his life in a way he hadn’t before.

While scrolling through social media during that period, he came across a video from Christian content creator Bryce Crawford. What struck him was Crawford’s apparent sense of peace and happiness.

“I saw a Bryce Crawford reel and thought, ‘That guy looks like he knows something,’” Togi explained. “I’m sitting there thinking, how do I have ten times more money, ten times more muscles, ten times more everything in this world, and he’s still more stoked on life than I am?”

The moment became even more impactful when Togi saw another video of someone who had just been diagnosed with cancer for the fourth time but was still expressing gratitude and optimism.

“I was like, ‘Dude, I need whatever this guy’s smoking because this is crazy,’” he said. “The hand of cards he got dealt was infinitely worse than mine, and he was still happy. I realized I was missing something huge.”

Curious about what he had seen, Togi decided to reach out directly.

“I DM’d Bryce Crawford and he responded in like two seconds,” Togi said. “Three days later I went on his podcast, and he helped show me what the first step looks like in building a relationship with God.”

According to Togi, that conversation marked a turning point.

“Ever since that day, it’s like the clouds cleared,” he said. “I don’t even look at life through the same lens anymore because I’ve been put on the right path of building a relationship with God.”

The moment stood out even more because Togi had already experienced other serious wake-up calls in his life. Earlier in the podcast, he spoke about a previous overdose that led to a hospital stay and forced him to rethink his lifestyle.

“That’s when I realized I’m not invincible. I can pass away,” he said. “Now I’m trying to treat my body with more respect.”
