Popular fitness influencer and coach Greg Doucette has come forward with his take on a recent incident involving content creator Clavicular, who appeared to overdose during a live broadcast before being carried out by security and reportedly transported to a hospital. Doucette is convinced the entire episode was orchestrated for online attention.
The incident showed Clavicular consuming what appeared to be BDO, an industrial chemical used in plastics and solvents that converts to GHB when ingested. It is known to cause severe sedation and unconsciousness in excessive amounts. A dispatch recording was also shared online, with emergency services responding to a reported overdose at 900 South Miami Avenue.
Despite the apparent seriousness of the situation, Doucette pointed to several details he says do not add up. Most notably, after being carried down a flight of stairs by his security team, Clavicular was seen entering a black SUV on his own.
“That black SUV, last I checked, is not a white ambulance,” Doucette noted. He also questioned why no police or ambulance was visibly present at the scene.
“I 100% believe that he’s pretending. I believe this is fake. This is staged because where’s the ambulance? Where are the police?” Doucette said.
Drawing on years of personal experience witnessing similar situations at parties and events, he argued that someone genuinely in an overdose state would be physically incapable of walking or entering a vehicle unassisted.
“There’s no way that he could walk on his own accord if he was actually OD’d to this point. Physically impossible,” he stated.
Doucette also pointed to Clavicular posing for photos with fans during the incident as further evidence. “The way he would lock in for pictures with fans even while completely gone is hilarious and impressive and in my opinion proves that it’s staged,” Doucette read a comment.
Beyond questioning the authenticity of the event, Doucette expressed concern about the message being sent to younger viewers who follow Clavicular. “A lot of people are going to watch Clavicular. They’re going to be underage or teenagers mostly watching this guy and they’re going to think this is cool,” he warned.
He also took aim at the direction of social media content. “In 2026, it’s the year of the degenerate. Social media has taken a severe plummet. It’s horrendous. People are on purpose trend maxing, taking ster**ds at earlier ages, doing st*pid things such as this because people want to watch the crash outs,” Doucette said.
Regardless of whether the hospitalization was real or staged, Doucette made his position clear: “If he staged it, it’s bad. And if it actually happened, it’s bad. So it’s bad no matter what.”
