Fighter Attempts To Jiu Jitsu – Gets Knocked Out On His Back

UFC Fight Night Strickland vs Hermansson might’ve had an uneventful main event – but what it lacked on the main card it more than made up for during other fights. One of those fights was Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Carlston Harris.

Shavkat Rakhmonov is a very interesting prospect. The Kazakhstani fighter managed to continue his winning streak in an impressive fashion. Rakhmonov first wobbled Harris with a devastating spinning heel kick. At that point Harris was grounded. While Harris made attempts to start using his jiu jitsu, Rakhmonov leveraged his impressive height for the division and delivered sunning barrage of punches from the top.

“I think my fans know that I’m always finishing,” Rakhmonov said following the win. “I prepare on the ground, everywhere. Now thanks to god, 15-0.”

Rakhmonov is now 3-0 in the UFC with 3 finishes.
