Fans condemn UFC vet for crossing the line with comments made about 19-Year-Old Greta Thunberg

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Jake Shields is now embroiled in significant controversy. His remarks on the current conflict between Greta Thunberg and Andrew Tate have generated a tremendous amount of internet controversy.

Andrew Tate recently chose to attack activist Greta Thunberg online. Tate shared a picture of his Bugatti and requested Thunberg’s email address in return. Greta Thunberg is an environmental advocate who works to combat global warming.

He wrote:

I have 33 cars.
My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo.
My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s.
This is just the start.
Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions.”

Greta Thunberg made the decision to respond with a funny retort. She replied by tweeting: “Yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalld**[email protected],

Jake Shields then made the decision to participate after Greta and Andrew Tate exchanged words initially. However, Shields’ remarks on the subject were not well received by online users.

Jake Shields tweeted: “Andrew Tate and Grata Thunberg need to stop flirting and just f**k already”

What he added afterwards caused a great deal of controversy on Twitter. As one could expect, the fans saw the remarks as insulting and ridiculed Jake for them.

Shields tweeted: just give her a proper smashing and she will knock it off with her crazy feminist /climate nonsense

People on Twitter were enraged at Jake Shields. Some of the comments were as follows:

“A bigger fail than your PED test”

“This is probably the most disgusting thing I’ve ever read. Y’all are the worst”

“This tweet is the definition of sexual harassment”

“Bro prolly think he’s tough tweeting this”

“Eeeeww dude. You’re pushing 50 speaking like that”

Shields initially encountered a lot of push back. The first version of that tweet ended up getting deleted.

Shields seems to be enjoying new found notoriety but it’s unclear why this is a good hill to die on. Especially considering Shields is a single father of a daughter that’s close to Thunberg’s age.

Another interesting point about him is that he’s been a vegan for over 20 years – something Andrew Tate vehemently opposes.

Previously Shields managed to drew ire of netizens repeatedly on a variety of topics. The schtick seems to be working, with Shields being able to stay in the headlines.
