Eight People Indicted In Alleged Terror Plot Targeting UFC Freedom 250

Federal prosecutors have formally charged eight men in connection with an alleged conspiracy to carry out a coordinated assault on the UFC Freedom 250 event held at the White House in June 2026.

According to sources, the indictment includes two counts: conspiracy to provide material support to te*rorists and conspiracy to commit murder on federal government territory and to murder a federal government official.

According to the FBI, the alleged plot called for deploying armed drones and positioning snipers near the event. Investigators say the plan was designed in two phases: first, steering attendees into a designated area where snipers could target them, followed by a second wave of attackers directed at the White House gates.

Prosecutors allege the intended targets included President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, the Prime Minister of Israel, other senior federal officials, and “other high value targets.”

The indictment alleges that beginning in May 2026, the defendants conspired to funnel material resources to terror networks, including cash, weapons, ammunition, body armor, drones, medical equipment, communication devices, personnel, and other services. The eight men allegedly coordinated across multiple online platforms, including Instagram, Signal, SimpleX, Discord, and TikTok, where they developed assault plans, recruited participants, and pushed one another to prepare for the event.

Court documents reveal that the group organized itself using a structured tier system. Members at the first level were expected to “put themselves in harms way, break the law, and potentially go into hiding.”

Beyond their digital coordination, the defendants allegedly participated in marksmanship and tactical training, identified specific targets, and assembled operational plans for both the assault and their escape. Authorities say they also gathered an arsenal of firearms, ammunition, and tactical gear in preparation.

Investigators initially identified 23 individuals as having ties to the alleged conspiracy before the formal charges were brought against these eight. Each defendant now faces a maximum sentence of 15 years for the material support count and life in prison for the murder conspiracy charge.
