Professional mixed martial arts competitor Dillon Danis has once again stirred controversy on social media, this time targeting former UFC athlete Paige VanZant with a post about her changing appearance.
Paige VanZant previously challenged Dillon Danis to a power slap showdown. The rivalry escalated when VanZant publicly confronted Danis over past controversial remarks, accusing him of inappropriate behavior during a UFC retreat and defending her husband, Austin Vanderford, against Danis’ taunts. With Vanderford offering to settle the feud in MMA or boxing, and VanZant embracing her fiery persona.
Danis, known for his provocative social media presence, shared a side-by-side comparison of VanZant’s current appearance alongside an image from her UFC days. The post, shared on X (formerly Twitter), featured just one word and quickly gained attention among combat sports fans.

The image previously started trending among UFC fans with many comparing PVZ’s transformation to that of Erin Moriarty from The Boys.

“I do feel silenced. I do feel dehumanized. I do feel paralyzed. I’ve put blood, sweat, and tears into this role (over & over & over again). I’ve grown UP in this character’s shoes (*emphasis on grown up – we change & evolve mentally AND physically),” Moriarty posted on Instagram.
The comparison highlighted noticeable changes in VanZant’s facial features over the years, drawing mixed reactions from followers. This latest social media interaction adds to an ongoing feud between the two athletes that dates back to May when Danis made controversial claims about a past relationship with VanZant, which she firmly denied.
Meanwhile, VanZant has recently hinted at an upcoming return to competition, though details remain under wraps. Danis has been inactive in competition since his October 2023 appearance at a Misfits Boxing event against Logan Paul.
The social media exchange represents another chapter in Danis’s history of targeting fellow athletes online, a behavior that has become his trademark in recent years.
VanZant has yet to publicly respond to Danis’s latest social media post.
