Dillon Danis puts Jake Paul in his place after he challenges Canelo after Charlo win

YouTube sensation turned boxer Jake Paul has directed a stern message towards super-middleweight champion Canelo Álvarez, following his successful title defense against Jermell Charlo.

The world of influencer boxing witnessed an unprecedented surge in popularity with the entry of internet personalities when KSI and Logan Paul engaged in a high-profile match in 2018.

Recognizing the immense interest from fans, sports streaming platform DAZN took a strategic step by signing KSI’s Misfits Boxing to a substantial five-year deal. This partnership aims to showcase matchups featuring prominent social media influencers and personalities.

On a different front, Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions has chosen to shine a spotlight on emerging professional boxers and has adopted a distinct approach. Additionally, Jake Paul has not shied away from facing seasoned professional combatants.

He went head-to-head with Tommy Fury, who dealt him his first defeat earlier this year. Paul then ended up squaring off against Nate Diaz and ended up winning the bout via unanimous decision.

Now with his sights set on the next bout, Jake Paul has issued a direct challenge to the world champion Canelo Álvarez.

After Canelo’s recent title defense against Jermell Charlo on September 30, Jake Paul was asked for his thoughts on the match. Clearly dissatisfied with Charlo’s performance and the force behind his punches, Paul urged fans to brace themselves for the power he’s yet to unleash.

He said: “Yeah Charlo is not really giving him anything, not really giving him that power. Yeah, wait till Canelo gets my power, you know? Just wait, brother.”

Since his victory over Diaz in August, Jake Paul has remained tight-lipped about his next opponent. While fans eagerly anticipate a showdown with his arch-nemesis KSI or a rematch with Tommy Fury, there’s also speculation about a potential face-off with Canelo in the cards down the line.
