Dana White donates $100k to Donald Trump’s Hurricane Helene fundraiser

UFC president Dana White has made a substantial contribution to a fundraising campaign initiated by former President Donald Trump. White’s generous donation of $100,000 has significantly boosted efforts to aid those affected of the devastating storm that recently swept through the Southeastern United States.

The hurricane, which struck in late September, caused widespread destruction across Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas, claiming over 130 lives and leaving countless families without homes. In response to this tragedy, Trump launched a GoFundMe campaign as an official channel for MAGA supporters to offer financial assistance to those impacted by the disaster.

White’s contribution stands out among a list of high-profile donors who have rallied behind the cause. Other notable figures include musician Kid Rock, who donated $20,000, and investor Bill Ackman, who matched White’s $100,000 contribution. Former U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler and investor Steve Witkoff made even larger donations, each giving an impressive $500,000 to the relief efforts.

The fundraiser’s description emphasizes Trump’s personal involvement, stating that he is “on the ground in communities to see the aftermath firsthand.” It also assures donors that all contributions will be directed towards helping those most affected by Hurricane Helene.

The campaign has far exceeded its initial goal of $1 million, with the total raised surpassing $3.6 million as of Tuesday night. This outpouring of support demonstrates the widespread concern for those impacted by the hurricane and the desire to assist in their recovery.

White’s relationship with Trump is well-documented, with the former president frequently attending major UFC events. The UFC president has also shown his support for Trump in the past, introducing him at the Republican National Convention in July as Trump prepares for another presidential campaign.
