Garcia, a rising contender at just 28 years old, entered the bout with an MMA record consisting of 15-3, including a 3-3 record in the UFC. He was determined to make a statement by defeating the veteran Guida.
Fans were not disappointed by the Garcia vs. Guida bout, which showcased the resilience and skill of both. Despite Guida’s experience and reputation, Garcia was able to dominate the action and earn a unanimous decision victory.
The young lion proved to be a formidable opponent, using his speed and agility to outmaneuver Guida and land several significant strikes. Guida, however, refused to back down, displaying his trademark toughness and grit throughout.
