Cursed? Drake places $850k on Logan Paul to defeat Dillon Danis

Canadian music sensation, Drake, has made an $850,000 wager on the upcoming showdown between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul, set to take place on October 14 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.

In this intriguing battle inside the boxing ring, Logan Paul is emerging as the clear favorite, largely due to Danis’ limited experience in striking and a size advantge.

What has intensified the stakes even more is the personal animosity between the two wannabe boxers. Dillon Danis escalated tensions by involving Logan Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal, in their feud, which has only fueled Logan Paul’s determination. Drake seems to share the same sentiment and took to Instagram to declare his substantial bet on Logan Paul to secure a knockout victory against  Danis.

Drake, emphasizing the intensity of personal vendettas, voiced his belief that betting against such motives is ill-advised. In his Instagram post, he stated, “Never bet against personal vendetta and settling scores”

He also tagged Logan Paul in the picture.

In response to Drake’s bet against him, Dillon Danis didn’t mince his words. He posted a picture of himself alongside the Canadian artist on Twitter and stated, “850 on my head is disrespect.”

It’s important to mention that Drake has garnered a peculiar reputation in the sporting world due to the so-called “Drake curse.” This curious phenomenon suggests that athletes and teams experience a significant downturn in their performance after interacting with or receiving support from the musician.

As the much-anticipated battle between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis approaches, their final press conference was marked by heated exchanges and verbal sparring. During this intense face-off, Logan Paul ended up with a cut on his face just two days before the scheduled fight. The confrontation took an unexpected turn when Paul tossed a bottle at Danis, who responded by striking ‘Maverick’ with a microphone.

Despite the injury and speculations surrounding a potential fight cancellation, Logan Paul clarified on Twitter that the bout is still very much on, saying, “Dillon can’t escape me. The fight is very much happening, the stakes just got higher.”

The card world eagerly anticipates whether the “Drake curse” will impact Logan Paul’s performance in this high-stakes match.
