Controversial Looksmaxxer Advocates HGH During Puberty, Saying It Works Best at That Stage of Life

In a conversation on the Jack Neel podcast, looks-maxing content creator Clavicular talked about the use of HGH use during puberty.

“There are things that I would advocate for, with obviously a doctor being involved, like HGH,” he said. “I think that’s one of the most beneficial things because if you’re putting yourself into that elevated level for a prolonged period during puberty, the growth and what that’s going to do for you is going to benefit you so much.”

He grounded his argument in economics as much as biology, pointing to data linking height with earning potential. “You look at income based on height and all the statistics, there’s no reason not to,” he said, before immediately qualifying his position with an emphasis on medical oversight and proper protocol.

He continued: “With proper supervision and proper protocols, like not spiking your blood glucose super out of range by eating carbohydrates after taking HGH. So if done properly, that’s the best point in your life to do it.”

Clavicular acknowledged that recommending hormone use in minors is a position many people find difficult to accept. “It sounds bad because, you know, you’re a kid, you’re still going through puberty,” he said, “but that’s the only time in your life where it works.”

He was specific about why timing is the determining factor. “You give someone HGH and they’re 21 years old, their growth plates are closed. A lot of their growth pathways aren’t going to be as efficient. It just doesn’t do the same thing.”

The conviction behind his recommendation appeared personal. When asked whether he would have done anything differently had he been able to return to age 14, Clavicular said he would have started HGH sooner than he did.

“Maybe starting some of the things like HGH a little bit sooner,” he said. “I started with test and I started with using aromatase inhibitors to hypermax, but I could have thrown in the HGH. I just simply didn’t have the money for it when I first started off with pharmacology and cycling.”
