Conor McGregor transitioned to boxing for a match against Floyd Mayweather. In his boxing debut, McGregor got off to a strong start. However, he was eventually outmatched and was stopped by Mayweather in round 10.
According to estimates, McGregor earned $100 million from the bout. The match is still one of the most popular combat sports pay-per-view events ever.
After their bout, McGregor returned to mixed martial arts. Since then, Mayweather has engaged in a series of lucrative exhibitions including the one against Logan Paul
Logan Paul, Jake Paul, KSI, and Deji created a new subgenre of boxing that is sometimes referred to as “YouTube boxing.”
Logan Paul and Mayweather boxed in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium in June 2021. The match lasted for eight rounds. However, no winner was declared because the match went the distance.
Exhibition event don’t have judges scoring the card – it is either KO or no outcome.
McGregor got involved in the discussion thanks to his longtime friend Dillon Danis who is making his boxing debut against KSI in January.
Brother you’re a friendly little nerd I don’t care. He should be back doing mma if he is doing this little nothing burger match with you. I couldn’t care less about this genre of boxing, I am sorry. Have a good one. https://t.co/4qNs85OmGd

Logan Paul then tweeted: “Genre of boxing” ?? Boxing is boxing. I’m a YouTuber & I still did more damage to Floyd than you”

Interestingly, Paul has no wins in boxing yet still feels like he can claim he’s the superior youtube boxer due to the fact he wasn’t knocked out by Money Mayweather.
Deji then tweeted against McGregor: “I gave Floyd Mayweather a black eye, did you?”
