Comedian Theo Von revealed during a recent podcast episode that he has been attending Bible studies with country music superstar Morgan Wallen, offering a glimpse into an unexpected spiritual friendship between two of entertainment’s most recognizable personalities.
The revelation came during Von’s conversation with fellow comedian Leanne Morgan on his podcast “This Past Weekend,” where the discussion naturally turned to Wallen, whom both entertainers know personally.
When Morgan mentioned she had worked with Wallen early in his career and had promised him a casserole, Von casually dropped the news about their regular spiritual gatherings.
“I’m going to see him tomorrow at Bible study, actually,” Von told Morgan during their conversation.
Von has been increasingly open about his faith journey in recent years. The Louisiana native has discussed his spiritual struggles and growth on various platforms.

When Morgan asked what they were studying, Von admitted, “I mean, tomorrow I think we’re watching a movie, but it is Bible study. I’m not sure what chapter we’re on. I shouldn’t even have said that because…”
Leanne Morgan responded positively to the news, noting she wasn’t currently in a Bible study herself but had been during her child-rearing years. “That’s so sweet,” she told Von, clearly touched by the news of the two men coming together for spiritual fellowship.
Leanne Morgan then went on playfully added that Morgan Wallen could be headed toward ministry, joking, “I think he’s going to end up preaching.”
