Chris Pratt slams Adesanya for that performance at UFC 276

Israel Adesanya may have won the crypto.com bonus of the night cashing in on additional $30,000 but he certainly didn’t win himself any favors from Hollywood actor, Chris Pratt,

Pratt was in attendance in an attempt to promote his movie. Pratt has started off as an internet darling but has had trouble with the fans and is widely known as the ‘worst Chris’ ever since he divorced his ex wife Anna Faris and inadvertently dissed his prematurely born son from the first marriage.

Since then he’s drifted away from Hollywood mainstream. And in an attempt to ingratiate himself to a new – more male fanbase has been cultivating a new image.
Pratt has long been a fan of MMA and has though it would be a great idea to share his thoughts on the performance of longtime Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

“Look, I’m going to say this as humbly as I can as a guy who has never stepped into the Octagon,” Pratt said.

“I don’t know this game, I’m just an actor, man. But, I’m not a fan of coming out with all that talk and then putting on a little bit of pitter patter.”

“I’m like ‘Come on, man! Cash on that!’ You gotta cash that promise of being so bad ass. And I dunno. If I bet with my money, I would have bet Adesanya’d do something like that. But I was hoping to see Cannonier make it.”

Pratt was in attendance supporting Cannonier in what some refer to as the ‘new curse”.

Adesanya won’t be crying himself to sleep considering he has the support of the biggest Box office star – Dwayne The Rock Johnson. But he did acknowledge he had ‘an off night’.

“F*** them,” he said. “They’ve been here since 3 p.m., they’re all drunk, they don’t know what real fighting is. I’ve said this, the greats, they all get to this point.”

“GSP, people would boo him, and I’m like, ‘What the f*** are you guys watching? You dumb f****. [Muhammad] Ali, Floyd Mayweather, same thing. “

“You get to this point where, like, you’re so great, people just want to see you fall. They just want to see you fall, no matter what. If it’s not like a show-out, spectacular performance, then it’s like, ah, he’s not even that good.”

“But trust, Jared knows I’m a good fighter. He knows I’m a great fighter, and I gave him the same credit as well.”
