Popular internet personality Adin Ross recently revealed that UFC competitor Khamzat Chimaev requested an astonishing $700,000 fee to appear on Ross’s online content platform. The amount left the content creator in disbelief.
“I actually want to tell you something really fun,” Ross shared in a recent stream with his audience. “I connected [Chimaev] with someone from [my] team and the guy said $700,000 to stream with [Chimaev]. I never laughed so hard in my life.”
The revelation has sparked conversation throughout the combat sports and content creation communities, with many questioning the valuation placed on such appearances. Ross’s reaction to the fee proposal was one of genuine surprise.
The situation stands in contrast to fellow UFC contender Islam Makhachev, who reportedly made a similar appearance without requesting payment. Ross acknowledged this difference, noting, “Islam did it for free,” before adding, “God W Islam,” expressing appreciation for Makhachev’s willingness to engage with his platform without financial demands.

Ross also mentioned potential plans to visit Dagestan in the near future, suggesting continued interest in connecting with contenders from the region despite the surprising interaction with Chimaev’s team.
With the rise of social media and streaming platforms, many athletes are exploring new revenue streams through such collaborations.
Chimaev is currently preparing for his upcoming bout against DricusDu Plessis at UFC 319 on August 17. The high price tag might reflect his perceived market value or possibly a strategic decision to limit non-combat commitments during training camp.
Ross seemed amused rather than offended by the request. Whether Chimaev’s reported fee was a serious request or an indirect way of declining the appearance still remains unclear.
