Brian Ortega ended his main event against Yair Rodriguez early. Sadly for Ortega, he was unable to continue the bout due to the fact that his shoulder visibly popped out during ground work on Rodriguez early on.
Brian Ortega’s shoulder is done. Looks like it dislocated late in R1. Super unfortunate way to end one of the best non PPV cards as of late. Brian Ortega, who has had shoulder issues, popped it trying to force an escape from an armbar attempt.

Heartfelt speech by both athletes followed. Rodriguez seemed genuinely concerned for Ortega. Ortega shared he had undergone shoulder surgeries previously.
