Brendan Schaub would only buy one UFC kit – and it’s not one belonging to an actual UFC star

Social media icon Hasbulla Magomedov has revealed that he has joined the UFC. He acknowledged the long-running rumours are accurate in an Instagram post and thanked everyone who helped in his most recent endeavor. Hasbulla is about 1 meter tall or 3 feet and 3.37 inches in height. He weighs around 16 kg.

Hasbulla also declared he would be competing which is frankly highly doubtful as anything but a plot to sell more of his overpriced walk out jerseys.

The Russian and the rest of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s crew are good friends. Hasbulla is well-known in the mixed martial arts community, and many UFC fans were happy to see him sign.

On his podcast, former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub offered his opinion on the deal. He joked about buying Magomedov’s products and praised the move as a marketing genius.

“I was gonna say I would never buy a fight kit but I’d buy that one [Hasbulla’s]. Yeah, you know, UFC marketing team with Hasbulla, obviously with his massive following, his connection to Khabib, and then you know, the Nelk boys and stuff like that. Anything to get this younger generation. It’s working, yeah, I get it. No hate there.”

UFC has been clearly trying to target a younger audience having provided tons of access to popular podcast Full send and Barstool. Not to mention that the promotion is very active on tiktok in an attempt to reach a younger audience.

White was asked about their deal with Hasbulla recently and declined a provide a definitive answer as to if Hasbulla will actually compete in UFC.

Hasbulla tends to get along with everyone in the promotion except Conor McGregor. McGregor is not a fan of Dagestanis and as such has made a ton of derogatory comments targeting the viral star.

Dana White joked that McGregor is in a world of trouble if he runs into the star:

“Conor’s gonna f*** around and get his a** whooped if he runs into him out in the streets.”
