Brendan Schaub posts first ad for Aubrey Marcus’ new company

Former UFC heavyweight and podcaster Brendan Schaub has begun promoting Korrect, the new supplement venture from Aubrey Marcus, former CEO of ONNIT. The partnership marks Marcus’s return to the supplement industry after selling ONNIT to Unilever for a reported $200 million.

In a recent episode of The Fighter and the Kid podcast, Schaub enthusiastically endorsed Correct’s energy supplement, sharing his personal experience with the product. The comedian and podcast host appeared in what seems to be his first promotional content for the company, speaking about the noticeable effects he’s experienced.

“There wasn’t like these lows, there’s no more lows for me,” Schaub said during the episode. “I’m just living man. I got more energy.”

Schaub described how the supplement has changed his morning routine, recounting a conversation with his father-in-law. “On Saturday morning I’m up at five and before he even gets up I’m outside working on the trucks and he’s like,’Dude, you just don’t stop.’ He’s like, ‘It’s so impressive man, you just don’t.’ I’m like,’No man, I’m just going.'”

The podcast host concluded his testimonial by encouraging Marcus to expand distribution. “You’re sitting on this product man, you just didn’t get this in people’s hands. I have not given this to anybody who wasn’t stumped.”

Marcus revealed during the same podcast appearance that his motivation for launching Korrect stemmed from continued work on a formula he had begun developing during his time at ONNIT.

“I had started working on a formula while I was at ONNIT and I couldn’t quite put it together,” Marcus explained. “We keep tinkering with it and then we find something that works and we’re like, ‘Holy s**t, this is as important a formulation as Alpha Brain ever was.'”

The centerpiece of Korrect’s product line is an energy supplement featuring what Marcus describes as a “caffeine metabolite called parisanthine.” According to Marcus, this ingredient represents an isolated component of how the body processes caffeine, capturing what he claims is “the purest best part of caffeine.”

The promotion has also drawn scrutiny online due to Schaub’s appearance in the ad itself. In the clip, Schaub is shown bench pressing, but viewers were quick to point out questionable lifting technique.

Commenters noted that many of the reps appear rushed and incomplete, with the bar bouncing off his chest and stopping well short of full range of motion. Several described the set as a string of half or quarter reps done at high speed, followed by a handful of proper repetitions only after fatigue set in.

The former ONNIT founder acknowledged his financial motivations for returning to the supplement business. “Sure, I want to run it back and make that type of money again,” he stated candidly during the podcast discussion.

Marcus also disclosed during the conversation that he has provided financial assistance to Schaub in the past, though he didn’t elaborate on specific details. “I’ve gotten to do amazing things. I bought five of my friends houses, you know? I’ve got to help Brendan when Brendan needed help,” Marcus said.

The partnership brings together Marcus’s supplement industry experience with Schaub’s platform and audience reach through his podcast network.
