MMA media landscape has certainly gotten interesting over the course of last several years. Along with many former athletes trying to stay relevant in the sport there’s the occasional comedian making predictions.
Bryan Callen and Brendan Schaub shot to stardom thanks to their spot on Joe Rogan’s UFC companion podcast. The two have spun off since and have provided their opinions on a variety of topics but one thing that never disappoints is Schaub’s ability to put his foot inside of his mouth.
During a recent talk regarding UFC 280 the two had the following exchange.

Schaub:
Just hold him.
Callen:
And he’s either going to submit him.
Schaub:
Oh, absolutely not.
Callen:
Crazy Talk right?
Schaub:
You think he’s gonna pound him and then rear naked
Callen:
Pound him. Over the course of 5 rounds.
Schaub:
25 minutes.
Callen:
Yeah and that’s a really.
Schaub:
And you think and and you don’t. And now hold on. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. You’re not doing none of you know, because you want to play both ends. You just ride with Makhachev you f**king terrorist. No, the thing is, though, is you. I might. I Makhachev’s gonna get him down.
Not to mention talking MMA on the podcast is an interesting pivot. Callen was previously banned from discussing MMA on the show due to the fact Schaub was providing his expertise on the Big brown podcast (turned Schaub show).
