Brendan Schaub Believes Dana White Actually Threatened by Jake Paul

Former UFC fighter and a current podcast host Brendan Schaub recently talked about the things happening between UFC president Dana White and the Youtuber boxer Jake Paul. The two haveĀ  had a feud for quite a long time. In a recent episode of The Schaub Show, the 38-year-old elaborated.

Schaub called out Dana White for always wanting famous people to join his promotion, in order to reap the Pay per view rewards.

ā€œSay what you want about Jake Paul, but he has taken the fight game [and] flipped it on his head. Dana is coming after him. Listen, Dana only goes after people that he’s threatened by. He has all the money in the world, so when you threaten his business model, which Jake Paul is doingā€¦ He’s completely flipped the game. He’s the chink in their armor,ā€ said Brendan Schaub.

Jake has been demanding UFC fightersā€™ pay and health benefits which could affect the UFC greatly, and with all the eyes pointed at Jake Paul, many people are starting to see how underpaid the fighters really are. Rapper Snoop Dogg even thought Contender Series fighters were getting paid millions – when in fact the last confirmed Contender series checks were 5k to show and 5k win bonus.

Schaub also mentioned that Jake is a cheat code where White can gain a lot of money easily. ā€œHe’s a cheat code in this fight game,ā€ Schaub added.

After finishing the former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, Jake has decided to take a break from boxing and would return some time in 2022.

Brendan Schaub is also infamous for antagonizing Dana White. Schaub was infamously screenshot offering advice to Adesanya – only to be slammed by White.

Schaub later tried to de-escalate the conflict by issuing a lengthy notes app statement in which he refers to White as his Eskimo brother – no doubt hoping that the thinly veiled threat sticks.

Over the years Schaub has also tried to get closer to the Paul brothers – notably by enabling them to ambush Dillon Danis on the Foodtruck Diaries.

But then again his relationship with them probably soured once he tried to knock off their merch.
