During a recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, Helwani and his team took a closer look at the pricing and package structure surrounding the UFC White House event, sharing details from a deck that had been circulating among high rollers and potential partners.
Helwani opened the discussion by clarifying what the event actually offers for free. “The ellipse part is free,” he noted. “The country is invited.”
This came after a clip of Donald Trump was played in which the president stated, “It’s all people invited. Our country is invited to this. It’s free.”
However, for those looking for a premium experience, the numbers get considerably steeper. Helwani walked through what was being called the “Freedom 250 Partner” package, which covers the period of June 12 through June 14.
The package includes a welcome reception, press conference access, reserved seating, ceremonial weigh-ins, general admission access, a Zac Brown Band concert on the 13th, UFC 329 floor tickets, WWE event integration, and ring signage.
Before revealing the actual price, Helwani polled his crew. “I’m gonna say 20 grand,” offered someone from the team. Petesy locked in at the same number. Helwani himself said 20 grand as well, though another voice threw out 50,000.
The actual retail price left everyone surprised. “1.5 million,” Helwani said plainly. “I’m staring right at it.”
The reaction was immediate. “1.5 million is ridiculous for that,” came one response. Helwani pushed back, saying, “I actually don’t think it’s crazy.”
Referring to what is expected to be Conor McGregor’s return, he said, “Ring signage at WWE, that’s got to be worth something.”
One member of the crew argued the full package was worth at most 50,000 dollars, not 500,000.
He then did the math on what selling a significant number of these packages could mean. “Sell 100 of those,” he said. “That’s 60 million is not looking too bad.”
Regarding UFC 329 specifically, Helwani confirmed the numbering and what it likely means. “329 is July 11,” he said. “Presumably Conor McGregor’s return, which may be announced very, very soon.”
