(Video) Boxer sent flying through the ropes and out of the ring during impressive knockout

After sending opponent, Jan Salvatierra tumbling over the ropes with a hard blow, undefeated prospect John Ramirez went viral.

John Ramirez sent Jan Salvatierra tumbling over the ropes and out of the ring with the power of his strike.

Salvatierra was sent staggering backward towards the ring’s edge after the American star grabbed his chance by hitting a flush blow square on his opponent’s chin.

Salvatierra fell backward through the ropes and was about to strike the ground when he was stopped by a photographer who responded fast to avert further brain damage.

Salvatierra, who was clearly shocked by the fall, was afterward guided back into the ring by the photographer.

After inspecting Salvatierra’s face, referee Ivan Guillermo promptly stopped the boxing match. He awarded Ramirez the NABA super-featherweight championship.

After the bout, Ramirez agreed that his opponent had to pay for leaving himself vulnerable early on.

During the post-fight interview, Ramirez remarked:

” He made a mistake and he had to pay. He was not on my level. Joshua Franco, [Jesse] Bam Rodriguez, anyone with a belt I’m coming for you.”

“I’m not here to take part, I’m here to take over! I want to fight the best out there. I don’t care. How can you be the best of you don’t face the best out there.”

Salvatierra now has an 8-2 record after suffering his second loss of the year. Ramirez maintained his impressive run as he seeks a future world-title championship chance.

In the main event of the card, Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez beat Dominic Boesel with a fourth-round stoppage at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.

After his win against Canelo Alvarez last Saturday, Ramirez was so pleased with his performance that he immediately issued a bout call-out to Dmitry Bivol.

“I feel great about my performance. As I said, I would put on a spectacular show here in L.A. I got the victory via knock-out. I was expecting his best; we were expecting heavy shots.”

“My previous battle was difficult, but I was well-prepared for this one. For this bout, I ate even more tacos. This seems to be my natural weight. Everyone knows I’m looking for Bivol.”

“He must come to a halt and sign the deal. I’m on my way to get you and that belt. That battle is due to me. Because I’m larger, stronger, and smarter, I believe I can overcome him.”
