Boxer Rolly Romero wore an outrageous $30k necklace of HIMSELF to his bout

Boxer Rolly Romero made headlines once again as he sported a stunning $30,000 necklace featuring an intricately designed pendant of himself. He showed off his bold fashion statement prior to his controversial stoppage win against Ismael Barroso in an exciting match on Saturday night.

Romero experienced his first professional defeat at the hands of Gervonta Davis in May of the previous year. During the press conference preceding the Davis bout, Romero arrived topless in a fur coat and a pendant of himself.

Now he has transformed his entire outfit into an exquisite piece of jewelry that he wore on his return to the ring this weekend. Romero also took to social media to reveal the dazzling pendant.

According to TMZ, the pendant is crafted from 120 grams of 14k yellow gold and embellished with 20 carats of round VVS diamonds. In addition to his remarkable necklace, Romero wore a pair of “Channel Orange” custom boxing shoes. These shoes were a tribute to the renowned musician Frank Ocean.

And his controversial win against Barroso, Romero improved his record to 15-1. Referee Tony Weeks faced criticism for intervening prematurely and halting the contest.

Although Romero unleashed a barrage of punches, only a few connected cleanly. Prior to the questionable stoppage, Barroso appeared to have the upper hand in the match.

Despite the controversy surrounding his victory, Romero’s win has cemented his position as a two-weight world champion. He secured the vacant WBA title in the 140-pound division.

Fueled by this achievement Romero wasted no time in calling out Gervonta Davis for a rematch, aiming to avenge his previous defeat. Additionally, he expressed interest in facing Ryan Garcia. Ryan recently suffered a defeat at the hands of Davis via a powerful body shot in the seventh round.
