A rapper by the name of Boosie Badazz (real name Torrence Hatch) claimed WBC Champion Mike Tyson could’ve lost his life if he instigated an incident with the rapper.
According to him, he got in trouble because of the remarks he made against Zaya Wade. She is the trans daughter of NBA superstar Dwyane Wade.
Tyson’s daughter approached the 39-year-old after the argument on Tyson’s show. He refused to apologize.
Badazz gave an interview to VladTV from last year. He seemed to assert that if the former heavyweight champion boxer had intervened, he would have been “shot.”
According to Badazz:
“[Tyson] was like, ‘My daughter wanna ask you some questions’. I said, ‘Bring her in here’. You know, I’m full of answers for questions. She asked me questions, I asked her questions. She said what she had to say, I said what I had to say.”
Tyson received praises for challenging Badazz earlier on his Hotboxin’ podcast. The musician was questioned about why he criticizes the LGBTQ+ community.
Mike Tyson questioned at one point, “If you are a real man, then why do you offend people?”
In an interview in October 2020, Tyson spoke about the argument and his concern after the podcast.
