Best Buy girl celebrates 2 years of being a body guard for the UFC

UFC president Dana White celebrated the 2 year anniversary of Summer Tapasa’s employement.  Summer Tapasa was famous for her vigilant actions stopping a thief at Best Buy. While this won her the affections of Dana White it also got her in trouble with Best Buy – which sacked her.

White  commemorated to occasion and explained he regarded her as his favorite security guard.

Summer Tapasa-Sataraka went viral in December 2020 during her shift at one of Best Buy’s stores in Hawaii. The incident was pretty chaotic as the alleged thief tried his best to escape from the premises regardless of restraints. Tapasa kept pushing the alleged perp until he ran out of stamina and eventually gave up.

Tapasa was fired following the incident.

UFC Head Honcho Dana White was pretty impressed by her nimble and brave act. The 53-year-old then hired her with special perk – free airplane tickets and an invite to UFC 246.

“This is Summer Tapasa-Sataraka. She stopped this punk from getting away with stealing from BestBuy in Hawaii. She got fired for this. Flying her in this weekend and giving her tickets to the McGregor vs Cowboy fight. I WANT HER TO WORK FOR ME! Get ready for the best weekend of your life Summer.” White wrote on Instagram.

Many fans were wondering if she is doing okay and whether or not she is still in the UFC. White recently took to his Twitter account to celebrate the 2 years anniversary of Summer working for the UFC.

“What’s up everybody? I don’t if you remember but two years ago I posted that video of Summer from Best Buy whooping that dude’s *ss who was trying to steal a TV or something. So, she got fired from Best Buy. I thought that was insane. I hired her. She is still here. 2 years. My favorite bodyguards.” White said before giving a little kiss to Tapasa.

Tapasa also said, “Best boss ever. Never ever complained. I love him, he loves me.”
