Andrew Tate’s lawyer gave major updates regarding his condition in detainment. She explained how the situation is getting worse and worse for the controversial kickboxer.
Andrew Tate rose to great fame and became a house hold name in 2022. The bourgeois influencer made headlines over his statements regarding gender, women, business, and class. He uses his controversial takes and toxic masculinity to gain clout and followers, especially among younger male audiences. Tate is also a successful businessman in his chosen home country of Romania.
Despite his great success, Andrew Tate is currently in a bad situation. The 36-year-old is in detainment along with his brother Tristan and two females, Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu. They were accused of serious crimes, such as money laundering, forming criminal groups, and even human trafficking.
They are still under investigation. Recently, Tate’s new lawyer Tina Glandian provided a new update of the brothers in Romanian jail.
Glandian represented infamous clientele including Jussie Smollett and Chris Brown.
In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Glandian praised Tate’s commitment but revealed that they are in a bad situation with limited access to attorneys.
“The brothers are both very strong, they are resilient and they are holding up but obviously the conditions are not good. They are in a Romanian jail cell and they’ve been detained for a very lengthy period at this point. They have limited access to their attorneys, it’s not a good condition for them.” Glandian said.
Glandian continued to explain that the authorities don’t have any proof and it’s unreasonable to keep them in detainment for such a long time.
“They are controversial public figures but that’s not a crime and at this point we’ve not been provided any proof that they’ve committed any crimes nor have they even been charged. So I would ask that people presume them innocent as they are.” Glandian said.
Andrew Tate and his brother were arrested towards the end of last year. They seized him after catching him on wiretap. According to Digi24, Tate admitted to laundering his money and allegedly doing other crimes.
Another report also revealed that the Tate brothers intimidated their female workers. They claimed that Tate placed armed guards in every room to make the females work with a strict schedule and low payment.
