Andrew Tate has replaced KSI as Misfits Boxing’s CEO

Controversial influencer Andrew Tate recently declared himself the new Chief Executive Officer of Misfits Boxing, claiming to have replaced the promotion’s founder, YouTube star KSI.

In an announcement video that quickly spread across social media, Tate boldly stated his new position and immediate plans for the organization.

“I wouldn’t say it was a hostile takeover, but it was certainly planned,” Tate proclaimed in the video. “And Mams and I are gonna be working together to finally put Misfits where it belongs on the world stage. The largest disruptive force in sports entertainment history.”

The former kickboxing champion wasted no time establishing his authority, announcing his own boxing debut as the headline event for Misfits’ next show on December 20th in Dubai. Even more surprising was Tate’s declaration that he would immediately challenge for championship gold.

“I, as CEO, order a mandatory title defense for the heavyweight Misfits belt between myself, Andrew, the top G, King Cobra Tate, against Chase DeMoor,” he stated directly into the camera.

Addressing his opponent directly, Tate continued with characteristic confidence: “You don’t have a chance and you don’t have a choice, Chase. You have to do it. It is mandatory. So I strongly recommend you train. You may be younger than I am. You may be more active. You may be bigger, but everybody has a plan until they’re punched in the face.”

In a separate interview with Fred Talks Fighting, Tate provided additional context for the apparent business move, stating: “KSI tweeted something that annoyed me three years ago, so long story short: I took his company from him. And considering that I’m the largest name on the planet, if I’m gonna fight on an organisation, why not fight on an organisation that I own a percentage of? It makes a lot of business sense.”

While Tate’s announcement has generated significant buzz for the December event, questions remain about the legitimacy of his claimed CEO position and KSI’s current standing with the promotion he founded in 2021.

The upcoming Dubai event promises to be noteworthy regardless, as Tate stated it will be “Misfits’ largest show ever produced.”
