Amir Khan shows off luxury watch collection hours before three men are arrested for theft of his $72k timepiece

Recently, three individuals were detained in connection with the theft of Amir Khan’s $72,000 watch. Khan displayed his collection of high-end watches in a recent video.

In April, the former boxing champion and his scared wife Faryal, were robbed at gunpoint in East London.

Police have already apprehended the accused offenders. However, Khan is still eager to show off the collection of watches he spent a lot of money on.

He showed off several Rolex watches he had bought but don’t wear regularly in a video posted on Instagram.

“A nice collection of watches I collected in my boxing time. Don’t wear most of them but love them all, ” posted Khan.

He straps a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Oystersteel in the video. The watch on his wrist in the video costs around £35,000.

Among the other magnificent watches are an all-gold and green and gold variation Day-Date that costs close to £40,000.

Following Khan’s horrific incident, the police said that the three guys are being questioned on suspicion of robbery. Additionally, two of them were detained on suspicion of possessing weapons with the purpose of inciting fear of violence.

Khan had been seen wearing the watch while shopping on Oxford Street with a fan hours before the heist. Additionally, he was seen wearing it in an Instagram photo at the previous night’s charity event at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

In the hours after the incident, the now-retired boxer posted a video on social media. Khan told his followers:

“Last night was a bit mad. I’m glad everyone is safe. It feels a bit weird not wearing a watch but it is what it is. I just wanted to tell you guys that I’m all good. Me and the wife are doing some TV work today.”
