Self-proclaimed ‘alpha male’ influencer Wes Watson has been arrested in Florida on five felony charges after allegedly assaulting his fiancée, Megan, just days after proposing to her.
The incident, which was first reported by journalist Danny before Watson’s arrest, has now been corroborated by Jon Bravo, who states he personally reviewed photos, video, and audio evidence of the events that unfolded that night.
According to Bravo, the confrontation began when Megan attended a basketball game and posted a short video clip of herself on social media. Watson, who had paid for her breast implant surgery, saw the footage and reportedly became enraged.
He then called her repeatedly, threatening her and her family if she did not return home immediately. Bravo described the threats as follows: “He was saying things like he was going to cut her tits off of her body since he decided to pay for them.”
When Megan returned to Watson’s home, the situation turned physical. Watson allegedly struck her multiple times, attempted to take back the engagement ring, and held her against her will, preventing her from leaving.
Throughout the entire ordeal, Watson’s butler, Jose, and his personal security guard were reportedly present and did nothing to intervene, even as Megan was screaming and begging for help.
Megan was eventually able to leave, with a cousin reportedly picking her up outside the home and taking her to the emergency room. Bravo confirmed he saw photos of her injuries, stating: “I saw a cut, a gash in her head. I saw bruising on her right cheek. And I know that she has a black eye now.”
Watson now faces five felony charges in the state of Florida. Court documents reportedly list him as a high bail amount or flight risk.
The arrest comes while Watson is already out on bail for a separate prior incident involving an altercation with another individual. Given the combination of five new felony charges alongside his existing open case, legal analysts and observers believe it is unlikely he will be granted bail.
Bravo summed up the situation bluntly: “Personally, I don’t think he’s going to get bail on any amount of money considering he’s got five felonies and the other case going on.”
Watson, who built his online following by preaching discipline, toughness, and what he calls the ‘alpha male’ lifestyle, previously served eight to nine years in federal prison. If convicted on the current charges, a return to incarceration appears increasingly probable for the Florida-based influencer.
