The circus continues in the self-proclaimed “alpha male universe” as King Azoulay and Ali Sobh have returned to heavily promoting their fictional matchup. They are seemingly banking on the hope that public attention has shifted away from Azoulay’s recent legal troubles.
After a period of relative quiet where both appeared to pull back from their usual antics, the duo has ramped up their promotional efforts with increasingly desperate attempts to generate buzz.
Azoulay, who previously admitted that his Shaolin Monk training claims were “all bulls**t” and that he actually “trained with ballerinas,” has been frantically posting multiple clips from their previous podcast appearance.
Meanwhile, Ali Sobh has been making the rounds on podcasts, adding new layers to his persona by claiming he was once a male model who quit because modeling “wasn’t alpha enough.” He’s also been posting supposed fight cards, calling both men “pro fighters” and claiming they’re in talks with promoters in Dubai, New Jersey, Miami, and other locations.
“A lot of people want this fight to happen,” Sobh stated, though the legitimacy of these negotiations remains highly questionable.
The promotion has devolved into an “edit off” between the two middle-aged men, with both posting what they believe to be intimidating highlight reels of themselves. Azoulay posted one such edit with the caption, “Now that I beat the internet, it’s time for the next challenge.”
Most telling is Azoulay’s attempt to redefine his recent troubles, claiming that being called a “nice guy” actually means “clueless, ignorant, dumb” – a definition that appears nowhere in any dictionary. His posts have become increasingly erratic, mixing motivational speeches with inflammatory content targeting Sobh’s religion.
The timing of this renewed promotional push is hardly coincidental. With Azoulay’s legal conviction still fresh in public memory and both men’s credibility at an all-time low, they appear to be desperately attempting to redirect attention toward their fabricated rivalry.
