Aljamain Sterling trolls Sean O’Malley after he said he hasn’t “j’d the peen once this year”

In what can only be described as one of the more cringe moments in UFC social media history, former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling has released a parody video mocking current champion Sean O’Malley’s recent comments about his preparation to rematch Merab Dvalishvili.

O’Malley, who is preparing for his upcoming title shot, recently made headlines when he told reporters his unusual approach to training camp, stating he “hasn’t j’d the peen once this year” – referring to abstaining from self-pleasure – as part of his preparation regime.

Sterling, who lost the bantamweight title to O’Malley at UFC 292 last year, seized the opportunity to poke fun at his former opponent by releasing a video where he dons nerdy glasses and performs a rap mimicking O’Malley’s statement.

In the parody clip, Sterling recites lines like “Woke up looking for the Vaseline” and “Haven’t j’d the peen once this year” in a deadpan delivery that has drawn widespread reactions from fans and stars alike.

The video represents an interesting role reversal in the UFC bantamweight division. O’Malley has long been known for his colorful personality and social media presence, while Sterling was often criticized for being less engaging during his championship reign.

MMA fans were quick to respond to Sterling’s unexpected comedic turn. One Twitter user wrote, “Okay, Sean is now boring (like old Aljo) and Aljo is now funny (like old Sean). I was not prepared for these character arcs.”

Another fan commented, “Aljo is a f****n menace for this,” while others described the video as “diabolical” and “hilarious.”

Not everyone appreciated the humor, however, with one commenter noting they “made it 13 secs before I cringed out,” and another reminding Sterling that O’Malley defeated him in their championship bout.

O’Malley, who has also recently announced plans to quit social media in 2025, has not yet publicly responded to Sterling’s parody.

Since losing the title, Sterling has moved up to the featherweight division, while his close friend and training partner Merab Dvalishvili defending the title in the bantamweight division.
