Ali Abdelaziz has a hilarious explanation for Covington’s antics – it’s because he’s attracted to men

Infamous MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz slammed the UFC welterweight contender Colby Covington recently. Abdelaziz went so far as to even talk about Colby’s sexual orientation.

Colby and Abdelaziz had plenty of animosity between them. The biggest conflicts resulted from the fact that one of Ali Abdelaziz’s clients is Kamaru Usman.

Back in 2019, their beef escalated with Abdelaziz allegedly wanting to punch Colby when they stumbled into each other at a casino.

Recently, Abdelaziz appeared as a guest on the Champ and the Tramp podcast. Abdelaziz eventually discussed the conflict between Covington and Jorge Masvidal – in addition to their Miami steakhouse tiff.

“I think he is so uncomfortable with himself. I think all this gimmick he’s doing – I don’t think he likes women.”

“I truly believe this man does not like women. No. Hell no. If that’s what he likes (men) I don’t judge.”

Abdelaziz is religious so it’s highly unlikely these comments can be taken as earnest.

Ali Abdelaziz frequently gets into altercations despite his questionable legal status. Abdelaziz was at one point in witness protection.

In addition to clashing with Masvidal’s managers, Abdelaziz also slapped Dillon Danis and got him banned from the UFC.

He also had an online altercation with professional boxer Canelo Alvarez after he turned down an offer to box Kamaru Usman.

Despite being quite controversial, the 44-year-old Egyptian is one of the most successful managers in combat sports.

He manages several renowned athletes such as Justin Gaethje, Henry Cejudo, and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
