Alex Pereira talks Dillon Danis’ boxing bout against KSI: He’s doing very well

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira recently shared his thoughts on his training partner Dillon Danis’ upcoming matchup with KSI, scheduled for March 29th.

Pereira, who has been training alongside Danis at their facility, expressed optimism about the event while maintaining a measured perspective on the outcome.

“I think it will be a good contest. Two big names, and I trained with them today,” Pereira said to bloody elbow. “Obviously, it’s a different weight class. He has a different size than I have. But he’s doing very well.”

When asked about his prediction for the outcome, Pereira showed loyalty to his training partner. “He’s training with us, so I can’t say I’m not supporting him. Whoever is on my side, I’ll always be together with them. He’s training with us, so I’ll be supporting him. I can’t say anything different, but I’ll be watching and hoping he succeeds.”

The Brazilian champion also noted that his experience training with Danis has been limited but positive. “We trained twice now, last week and this week. I don’t know much yet. Just like with Sean Strickland, things are a bit different, especially with the language barrier, but the energy is different.”

Pereira acknowledged that while he’s familiar with Sean Strickland’s style from previous training sessions, he’s still getting to know Danis’s approach. “With Dillon Danis, I don’t know completely yet,” he added.

The highly anticipated event will showcase Danis and KSI in what promises to be an intriguing spectacle for combat sports enthusiasts.
