Alex Pereira reacts to ex fiance mocking him after UFC title loss

Former UFC champion Alex Pereira didn’t stay silent after his ex-fiancée, Merle Christine, took to social media to mock his recent title loss at UFC 313 against Magomed Ankalaev.

Christine, who hosts the MMA podcast “Fightology,” posted “No more chama…Karma” on social media following Pereira’s defeat on Saturday night, referencing his nickname for her during their relationship.

The history between the two has been contentious since their split last year, when Pereira revealed on the “Full Send MMA” podcast that he had ended their relationship after discovering she was allegedly married to another man.

“It’s a little hard to talk about this because, for me, I already deleted this person from my life,” Pereira had said at the time. “I would also like to ask my fans to also delete her from your life. It was a person I believed, I put her in my house, together with my family. After all I found out, she was married.”

Christine had previously denied these claims, responding, “Lol hurt man inventing whatever,” along with crying-laughing emojis, adding, “How can I be married and moving to the states lol.”

In response to her recent taunt, Pereira took to social media with a pointed message: “I Think she should stop mentioning my name cause her husband might get jealous, chama 🔥”

The exchange has drawn significant attention from fans and media, adding another chapter to their ongoing public dispute following their relationship’s end.
