(Video) Wait, what: TikTokers are doing AUTISM reveal parties

A new trend is taking social media by storm as TikTokers put their own spin on reveal parties – this time announcing autism diagnosis results.

One creator documented his unique celebration, where he spent $2,000 on an official autism assessment and creatively concealed the results inside a piñata. Taking the reveal party concept to new heights, he invited friends to dress in specific colors based on their predictions – blue for being on the spectrum, and pink for “just creepy.”

“Why blue?” one friend was asked in the video. “Probably because of all the puzzles,” they responded, while another friend confidently stated, “Because I’ve known you for 10 years.”

But the creator didn’t stop at just breaking open a piñata. In what he called the “ultimate climactic reveal,” he transformed the results into a 300-piece puzzle. Despite initially planning for a group activity, he opted to assemble it alone in a separate room.

After 30 minutes of puzzle assembly, gluing, and framing, the results confirmed he met “criteria for the Autism Spectrum.” His friends, who had correctly anticipated the outcome by wearing blue, celebrated with a prepared cake.

The creator, who was diagnosed as level 1 on the spectrum, expressed joy about his diagnosis, though his choice of self-descriptive terminology raised eyebrows among viewers.

This unconventional approach to sharing diagnostic results has sparked discussions across social media platforms about the intersection of medical diagnoses and celebration culture, with mixed reactions from viewers and mental health advocates alike.
